Summer's End.
thank God summer is over (here in Jersey anyway).It is my very least favorite season,actually i despise it.there is nothing good that comes to mind when i think of the summer.the heat makes me so irritable,wanna kill somebody,makes me feel like puking.hate the sun , hate sweating and people don't even know what REAL summer should look and feel like.
I grew up in northern Poland and summers there were the way they should be.anywhere between 64 and 80 degrees during the day.at night it could go down to the 50's so you always carry a sweatshirt with you.there was NO humidity , the sky was always very blue during the day and unlike here , you could see beautiful clouds dancing around.here when i look up at the sky , 90% of the time it's disgustingly off-white , like a pair of underwear that hasn't been changed in a week(and forget about seeing clouds).
at night in Poland the sky was deep black with stars everywhere.you could easily just stare for hours , it was beautiful.here it is so rare to see stars at night , you're lucky to even see the moon.
so yeah i friggin' hate summers here.and no , i don't like your dirty beaches with fat ,noisy , sweaty people 'enjoying' themselves.i'd rather stay home in front of the a/c and watch a picture slide show of Winter in Scandinavia on my computer.
another thing i hate about the summer are the annoying birds that wake up way before they should and 'sing' at like 5 a.m. i'm a VERY light sleeper so i hate them fuckers.also , at night you'd think it'd be quiet but Nooooo! then you gotta put up with the just as annoying crickets! i feel like pouring gasoline all over the grass and lighting them fuckers up!
summer has nothing to offer me , it pisses me off and i can't really think of anything i hate more (although there are plenty of other things).i hope this autumn is cold and dark and the coming winter brutally cold and ruthless.i embrace the cold and love seeing the decaying leaves flying off the soon to be bare trees.
i still have relatives in Europe as well as Scandinavia so for those of you about to tell me to get the hell out of here ; save your breath.there's nothing more i'd rather do than to live ,say in Finland.for now i can bitch if i want to , just like most of you do when you get a little 'cold' in December.
I welcome you Autumn.may you kill all green life and replace it with copper ,grayness and cold winds!
